Hola Zylkia, I would like to help you with your memoir. I'm wondering if it would help if you wrote in your native language first and then translated. I know it's difficult to write from a deep, emotional place in a language that comes naturally to you. I am an intermediate Spanish speaker - and I have tried writing poetry in Spanish - so I understand. I have helped several people with their memoirs - and I am working on the 2nd draft of my own (2 years living in Argentina). Just by looking at your description I can tell you have a lot to say. A memoir is different from an autobiography in that you don't tell your entire life story. I would suggest you work on an outline and choose a theme or two that you stick to and don't talk about things that aren't relevant - even if they are very interesting. Have you read a lot of memoirs? How much have you written? I'd need a word count and details in order to give you an accurate bid. If you haven't written it all down, perhaps we can do a consultation rather than an "edit." I'm a university-educated native English speaker.
