Donna, Joe (my dad) and my stepsister all went with him back to Vietnam to meet with his former enemy and the people that lived in the village. We took my 7 month old daughter so he could hold his granddaughter there while met and spoke with those people. It was amazing. We won an Emmy for the documentary of that trip. He is aging now and the agent orange poisoning is really taking its toll but he is still in uniform ready for whatever his country or family need of him.
