there's an email server with pop3 and imap access. i'm setting up a wireless hotspot with radius and would like every user that is already on the email server to be able to login i.e. authenticate via the mail server access. the hotspot will direct the login credentials to the mail server and if the mail server answers with a positive response, the user is granted access. I'm thinking this can be done with a slight modification of a RADIUS server to proxy requests to the mail server and then grant access on success. Please don't bother to respond to this if you're not already familiar with extending radius authentication.

A script that allows a user to enter their IMAP account details. So username / password / server address / port. The script then goes and fetches the email headers from their sent mail folder. Key information to capture is To / From / Date-Time. The script then keeps the header data stored in a csv / text type file for further analysis which isn't part of this project. If this can then be scheduled to run every day, that would be good. Only the raw data is required. I would prefer the script to run on a Windows 7 install initially as I'm only after functionality.
