Project Description:
We are seeking an experienced developer with proficiency in Django and React to assist in the completion and enhancement of our web application. The database is already set up and connected to an RDS instance, and preliminary steps in integrating Django and React have been taken.
Core Requirements:
User Authentication and Authorization:
Implement robust user authentication.
Based on user roles or permissions, restrict what users can view or access.
New users should provide a brewery ID upon signup, which will be used to dictate access levels.
Data Interaction:
Users should be able to read data from specific tables.
Implement logic to calculate and display metrics, such as the number of users who have completed a trail.
Ensure data integrity and security when interacting with the database.
UI/UX Improvements:
Enhance the main page using React.
Ensure the web app is responsive and user-friendly.
Implement necessary features or components based on project requirements.
Additional Features:
Limit access to certain fields or data based on the brewery ID associated with the user profile.
Provide an admin dashboard or interface to manage users and monitor activity.
Existing Setup:
The database is connected to an AWS RDS instance.
Initial integration of Django and React has been done.
The database appears to be pulling data into Django successfully.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency in Django and Django REST framework.
Strong experience with React and related frontend technologies.
Knowledge of AWS, especially RDS.
Strong understanding of web security principles, especially in relation to user data.
