Website reDev from Asp to ASP.NET

We need to get some bids on completly redoing [[url removed, login to view]][1] from ASP to ASP.NET and adding some new features. We started a new design at [url removed, login to view] using ASP again, but would like to get quotes on a ASP.Net version (using VB language) We are VERY high on search engine rankings #1 so we would need to match the names of the current page structure and data as possible, we use XQASP and would need a way to re-generate these pages for our search engine optimization. We have an admin backend that allows us to add parts, images, veiw orders, place administrative orders, among other admin-like activities. [url removed, login to view] Has 4 Main areas Main website, Customer Area, Used Parts Main site, and Admin site. I will describe the required functionality of each side as it currently functions and what additions we need to add. Above all else we need to make sure the existing URLS and the page content remains the same. We use the component XQASP in order to create dynamic "Static" pages. We are not sure how you intend to spoof this however the links MUST be completely the same in order for Google to keep the current indexing. Please navigate the site and pay attention on how the component works and what is generated. [url removed, login to view] is an online Parts dealer for Lamborghini we currently use an Access database that we will need to convert to MS SQL 2003.

## Deliverables

We have currently over 20 parts manuals that have the pages scanned and the items for each page manually entered into a database so that customers can cross reference parts. We currently use ASPImage to create the watermarked images. We are very keen in some how preventing any visitor from copying, saving or printing these pages as they are copyrighted. I don't know what technology exists that will prevent people from doing this so we are open to any suggestions. Main Site The main site we want to look like the [url removed, login to view] most of the development work is done in ASP but decided to get it done in ASP.Net. Our pricing, shipment and payment methods are unique so it is not possible to use a "pre-boxed" shopping cart software. All the parts are located in a single database table. We want the visitor to be able to select the model and year vehicle and locate their items. It needs to display a thumbnail of the parts catalog and then a larger view. Each Parts Catalog has 100's of pages and the parts database has over 25,000 items so the Images need to be created and cashed on the server before going live however they need to be initially dynamically created so when we add new manuals and parts the newer pages will be generated or if a page is replaced we need to be able to delete and replace. Some pages are not available so we need to display that. There are 4 Categories New Original Parts, Used parts, aftermarket parts Accessories and replica parts. All but the UsedPArts are located in the parts table, the used parts are located in a separate table and are linked to the customers that have uploaded the parts they want to sell. Although this is all one website we have create a "Virtual" second website called [url removed, login to view] please review this as well. The Main site, users need to be able to add items to a shopping cart as it does now. It needs to be able to determine if a part is in stock and give them the option of expediting for a set amount of money more. Please review the [url removed, login to view] We have a dealer section that lets dealers get special discounted pricing. The logon password is the same for all dealers, they must log in first to receive the discount. A new function we are adding to the new site is the ability for customers to save a shopping cart for later processing. We also have a related links page that we need to be able to edit and add links to other websites either via a web authoring program or dynamically. The "Lamborghini Parts Listing 1" and Lamborghini Parts Listing 2" are dynamic pages that allow the search engines to spider all the possible parts and each page will only show 100 items at a time (The search engines Max links on a page) before you have to page to the next link. This works for all 25,000 parts. We need a way to easily edit the home page to show news, specials etc... This can be static or dynamic Customer Area The Customer area allows users to view current orders, orders on hold, shopping carts that are saved. It allows them to change and update their account details and manage their used parts they have for sale. They can pay an invoice on hold for whatever reason. You may have to create an account on the current active site by placing an order with a wire bank transfer or something so you can see how it currently works. Once an order is placed and paid for the user can not add items to it, however if the order has not been charged then they can add items to the order. Used Parts Main site The used parts site allows users to create accounts (connecting to the same database) and upload pictures descriptions etc.. on the parts they want to sell. You may have to do this as well in order to see how it operates. Any new parts are subject to authorization by the Admin and any changes to the listing require approval before the listing is made active. Admin Site This is the most important part of the site. It needs to be windows password protected which is done with IIS. It is divided into the following areas: Customer Area, Orders, Products, Admin Cart, Admin Orders, Order Receive, Coupon Management, Used Parts Edit, Parts Catalog The Customer area, lets us Locate a customer, edit their account details, billing, credit cards on file etc... view past orders, and log directly on to their accounts. Everything is visible and editable The Order section allows us to look up any past orders with the Order ID, or a customer search, or date range etc... We can view all open orders (orders that payment has been received and have not been completed or shipped. We can view all closed orders, all orders on hold (Order is placed but payment has not been received), We can orders where parts that are waiting to be shipped or are back ordered, then a very important query that shows a list of ALL the parts that need to be ordered. IT does a query and shows all the orders that are not on hold and are not yet complete. It shows us the customer, the order number and date and then searches to show when the last time that part was ordered. We can then order this item on our Admin Cart. We need to be able to Edit (add and delete) items from anyone's order on hold or Saved carts. We need to be able to add custom lines and pricing. Product Area is where we can locate a part using the part number, Part Id, Description search or the Category search (some parts we single out as we sell a lot of these items and we take pictures and categorize them for people to find without having to use the part catalogs. This where we edit/display the database fields edit upload pictures for that part, calculate sale price for regular customers and dealers etc.... We can also add new parts here. It shows us when in the last year that part was ordered and on what PO and you can link to them easily. Admin Cart This is a simply PO/Order generator that allows us to make a list order, it allows us to add items to the cart, and edit and then generate a sales order that is then saved. We can search for past orders and interactively find orders from the Product pages Admin Orders This is simply the link to be able to search on past orders Order receive This allows us to enter parts on a order that has arrived. IT lets us enter the Prices, shipping costs if any and lets us update Part numbers that have changed. Coupon Management allows us to create discount coupons that can be used indefinitely by anyone or used only once, we can create coupons on a fixed amount, or % on an order or shipping. Used parts edit, is simply that, we can add, edit or delete any used parts listings we need to be able to approve a listing here. Parts catalog. This is one of the most important applications we have, it is almost the same as the users side, but has no locks on printing or saving images, it displays Costs, and other price tiers we can drill down to a part and add it to the Admin cart. This is a basic overview of the website. There are many caveats that we will simply have to explain as they are completed or started on.
