I am currently seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Department for our SAP team. We are a well-established Indian company facing the critical challenges of reviving our SAP operational capacity. Our team consists of seasoned personnel who have dedicated years to our company, and now we are looking to inject fresh talent and invigorate our department with strong leadership. Your role will be pivotal in transforming our SAP operations to align with modern efficiencies and cost-effective practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Team Management**: Lead our existing SAP team with a focus on enhancing performance and collaboration.
- **Leadership & Guidance**: Provide strategic direction to not only meet current objectives but set the path for future advancements.
- **Talent Revitalization**: Identify gaps in our current team's expertise and recruit skilled professionals to fill those gaps, especially in critical SAP modules.
**SAP Modules of Focus:**
- Finance and Controlling (FICO)
- Sales and Distribution (SD)
- Material Management (MM)
- Production Planning (PP)
- Project System (PS)
- Plant Maintenance (PM)
We are confronted with several challenges, which include but are not limited to system performance issues, lack of integration between different SAP modules, and difficulties in generating timely and accurate reports. An essential part of your role will be to provide solutions to these challenges, leveraging your deep understanding of SAP functionalities and your ability to lead and inspire a team.
**Ideal Skills and Experience:**
- Proven experience in leading SAP teams within a complex organization.
- Deep knowledge of the SAP modules listed above, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and integrate diverse systems.
- Exceptional leadership skills, capable of mentoring and developing teams.
- Prior experience in talent management, specifically in identifying and nurturing SAP expertise.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address our current challenges in system performance and reporting.
