AWS Network Service: IPv4 to IPv6 Migration for our EC2 & RDS Instances

As per the AWS News Blog, AWS have introduced a new charge for public IPv4 addresses. Effective February 1, 2024 there will be a charge of $0.005 per IP per hour for all public IPv4 addresses.

We've several Instances which are using Public IPv4, which are now incurring charges for us a lot.

There are around 15+ such public IPv4 being used in our AWS Account.

I am looking for a skilled AWS expert to assist me with migrating our existing public IPv4 addresses to IPv6 for our EC2 and RDS instances. Your task will be to ensure that all IPv4 addresses are effectively switched to IPv6 and in full working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Migrate 15 public IPv4 addresses to IPv6 on our AWS account

- Ensure the IPv6 implementation is compatible with specific applications or services running on our EC2 or RDS instances

Skills and Experience:

- Extensive experience with AWS networking and services, particularly EC2 and RDS instances

- Proficiency in IPv6 migration and implementation within AWS

- Ability to ensure full compatibility with specific applications or services

- Strong communication skills to coordinate and explain the migration process

Please note that I do not have existing IPv6 addresses, and you are only required to configure IPv6 on EC2 and RDS instances. Your understanding of the AWS network is crucial to successfully completing this project.
