Bohemian Speed Dating is an online dating site that markets to a niche market of yogi's, musicians, activists, artists, and traveller's/lovers of the bohemian lifestyle. To help promote the business, flyers were needed to hand out at yoga studios, cafes, bookstores, etc... Something with a vintage/bohemian vibe was desired (paisley, colorful, etc...) but flashy enough to catch people's eye. My approach was to create a piece that was loud but not too tacky and very colorful and artsy to appeal to the creative appeal of the target market.

Eastside Roots is a reggae band based out of East Los Angeles. For an upcoming EP, the band wanted a cover design for the CD, and perhaps some graphics to use for T-shirts/flyers, etc...being for a reggae band, I stuck to a few basic fundamental colors/aspects of the culture.

Aerial Dynamix is a small media/sportsentertainment company based in Los Angeles that provides film/media services for various events. The company features the hexacopter, a 6-bladed remote-controlled helicopter with mounted camera. They wanted something edgy, yet simple but also wanted to somehow incorporate flight or the hexacopter essence within the design. Here are a few of the designs.

Here is a recreation of a floor plan that was initially made by the homeowners but unfortunately the size was too small for the builders/realtors to use. Since resizing the image would not work, the floor plans had to be recreated. The original image is on the left in its original size and the recreated floor plan is on the right and shrunk down to the size of the original for comparison.

While not at the mixing desk/workstation, I also enjoy working as a live audio mixer for my past and current institutions of education. At each respective theatre, I mix and help with the stage for music, dance, and drama productions. Responsibilities include stage plots, monitor mixes, FOH mixing, live recording, stage hand, among others. Awesome job =P

The Dr. Phil Show

I initially interned for the Dr. Phil Show right out of Recording School to pay off my student debt. I was offered a full-time position with benefits after only a month of part-time/on-call work. Part of my responsibilities included helping prepare photos for editing into video segments, in preparation for use by the graphics department, as well as for legal. I learned a lot at this job regarding editing, all aspects of television including production/on-set and post-production workflow including audio,

DeMille Productions

okt. 2011 - mars 2012 (5 månader, 1 dag)

DeMille is a small post-production house based in Hollywood that offers services including graphics, video recording/editing, and on-set production/post-production audio services (VO, mixing, sound design, etc...) Aside from helping set up the audio workstation/recording space, I worked on a few of the many freelance projects that walked through the door. Gigs included a music video for Shawn Lee along with live recording, Audio mixing for shorts films, and on-set recording for short films.
