Joy earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Allegheny Wesleyan College, majoring in Missions and Religious Studies and minoring in music. She has been writing part-time for more than 12 years, but started writing full-time in 2005. Since beginning her freelance writing career, Joy has become a top writer with several of the internet’s top writing companies, going on to become a proofreader/editor for two companies. She has been a ghostwriter for ebooks and special reports on many topics, including social media marketing, cooking and nutrition, audio archeology and parenting. She has extensive experience writing press releases, has been a guest blogger for many blogs and her work has been published in several magazines, such as Highland Dancer. Her background in the medical field, which has included working at a Geriatric Care Facility, working in Private Home Health Care and in Norfolk General Hospital’s ER, provides her with an extra edge with writing and editing articles related to the medical field. Currently, she is breaking into the fiction market, writing two, soon to be published novels. With her diverse experience, she has a broad knowledge base that allows her to create well-researched, scintillating content in many fields.
