Its unfortunate that this writer applied and i awarded her the project as per the terms in project description. She did 2 articles out of 8 i had assigned her, then started complaining that rates are low and she is paid better in iwriter. Accepting the terms and later not submitting work, complaining when deadline is missed and being abusive to clients are not virtues that should be condoned here. Writer should learn that one can pass their point without being abusive and spoiling the mood of those they are working with. About recommending her, honestly, she has to change her attitude for me to do that.

FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR

NEW MILLENNIUM JUNIOR ACTING AND DANCE SCHOOL
okt. 2014 - Nuvarande
THE FACULTY Who We Are The New Millennium Acting and Music School is an acting school dedicated to developing the young actor’s craft through classes, workshops, and productions. Our founder/current artistic director OLIVER MBAYI, was a …………….. Who subsequently taught and directed at various private/public schools and youth shelters, as well as teaching/directing acting classes at Kenyatta University. Since 2010, The New Millennium acting and Music was created as a supportive and nurturing environment for young actors to develop their craft and acquire life skills. While the school has grown a lot since the initial ten students, we are still committed to excellent teaching in a supportive and close-knit environment. Our Work Acting classes are centered on encouraging and praising each student for who they are and merging this into their work. Our students learn to create a unique, original character that is truly their own. In doing so, the young actor develops a love for their work, and with this, the ability to flourish as both an actor and as a person. Our Goals KEEPING WHAT’S NATURAL IN AN ACTING CLASS ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS. “I think with people of that age, it’s exciting to find kids that are unknown. There’s sort of naturalness, as opposed to having worked a lot, being kid actors.” This raises the question: do “kid actors” lose a sense of naturalness? It certainly doesn’t have to be this way. There are great examples of “kid actors” who’ve gone on to very successful careers (e.g. Jodi Foster). But there are also countless stories of “child actors” who have struggled to make the transition from a hit TV. show to feature films into adulthood. The problem happens when actors get into a certain “pattern” for a particular TV. show, and subsequently have a very hard time breaking this pattern once the show is over. This can be particularly problematic for kids as they can equate a specific “style” of a TV. show as being the “right” way to act. One of the big things we stress at the studio is that there is no one “right” way to act. It’s important to be flexible, and to always maintain your own sense of perspective. The actor’s own unique history, sense of imagination, and personality is critical to a healthy, long-term career as an actor. If an actor’s identity gets solely wrapped up in a particular TV. role, or in selling products, then they can lose that “naturalness” so important to filmmakers. Not to self-promote too much, but this is why acting classes are incredibly valuable to child actors. Classes are a great way to keep presenting new roles, characters, situations to an actor who is doing “more of the same” on a particular TV. show. Continual growth for an actor can only occur with new challenges, and working with a wide range of personalities. Patterns start to get cemented when we get stuck in an insulated environment of the same people, writing, stories, and experiences. It’s for this reason that our studio is perpetually changing so that our actors are constantly growing, and discovering their own unique talent. At the most basic level, our goal is to develop the young actor’s craft. The craft may make them stand out in front of a set, or thrive in a completely different aspect of life. We are so proud of our students who aspire to be successful in film, TV, and theatre careers, and are equally so of those who want to go on to apply their craft to various alternate pursuits. ………………., whose former students include …………… and ……………., offers weekly acting classes for kids. The goal of this course is for students to own their uniqueness and merge that into theatre, film, and TV scripts. Students will engage with several different chidren’s theatre based techniques toward finding what works best for them. Classes are kept to small numbers to insure that every student gets lots of time onstage every single week! The Basic Details Starts: December 10th (Monday- Saturday) and on weekends during school days. Duration: 52 Weeks Schedule: Full Program- 10AM-4PM; Half Day Program- 8:30AM-1:30PM Register: Registration is now open
