I am a highly dynamic and motivated individual, who is currently self- employed as a Consultant / Company Owner. Through excellent strategic planning and by being a proactive leader, I have successfully taken part in developing the Risk & Governance Division at Toyota Tsusho Africa (Pty) Ltd, now CFAO Holdings SA Pty Ltd. Being multi tasked in Credit, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Auditing and Forensics, I have gained the knowledge and skills required to successfully manage and lead any such projects. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: (Cross Collaborative – Projects) • Key role player for establishing a credit committee in 2008. • Implemented Japanese Sarbanes Oxley in 2009 / 2010 and auditing was done annually. • Key role player in setting up the forensic department in 2010. • Centralized the contracts management process in 2011. • Centralized the Vendor / Supplier screening process in 2012. • Documented the complete business process in order to identify the operational risks and implemented mitigating controls to reduce the risks in 2013. • Implemented Business Continuity Management, including training thereof in 2014. • Successfully managed and defended legal cases and or negotiated settlement agreements. • Implemented basic internal auditing functions and reporting in 2014. • Implemented a “whistle blowing” program in 2015 • Implemented Credit guarantee / insurance 2015. • Restructured corporate shared services in 2016 and took additional responsibility to manage the facility, buildings, maintenance etc. • 2017 to 2019 – Company restructure and sale of 25% share to BBBEE Investor. • 2019 - Project Management of Internal Audit for CFAO Holdings SA. • 2019 – Small scale agricultural activities in the Northern Cape. • 2020 – Project Management of Risk Mapping project in Africa for CFAO France. • 2020 – Lecturing the Practical Approach to Risk Assessments – developed jointly with a Mining expert. (Occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety) • 2020 – Lecturing Occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety Legal Liability / Government Certificate of Competence to Mining / Factory Industry together with Schraader Mining Consultants Pty Ltd. • 2021 – Implementing Business Continuity Planning for Automotive Industry in Kenya. • 2021 – Co-Author Occupational Health, Safety and the Law Book. • 2021 - Lecturing Occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety Legal Liability / Government Certificate of Competence to Mining / Factory Industry together with Schraader Mining Consultants Pty Ltd.
