I’ve been a web developer for more than 15 years. During my career, I’ve been responsible for building awesome digital products together with great team members, in projects that impacted society through technology in many levels – from startups and companies at earlier stages, to big companies that lead the market like [login to view URL]. I’m been working with open source initiatives and speaking in tech events like React Advanced in London, QCon and FISL (international open-source software forum). I’m currently working at Danske Bank in Copenhagen, as Senior Software Engineer, working on the core of the Mobile Bank team, responsible to release their apps and to create libraries to support development. I’m an experienced full stack developer with a strong foundation in front-end and interaction design. My career has been based on learnings from different projects, so I’ve acquired experience with the most used programming languages such as Javascript and their main frameworks, like React.js and React Native, as well as backend languages like Node.js, Ruby, Java, Python, PHP, relational
and nonrelational databases and trending technologies like GraphQL.
This flexibility provided me opportunities to contribute to different open source projects worldwide like Electricity Map in Python, Status Messenger with Blockchain, and Bootstrap, which is one of the most popular front-end open source libraries in the world. From all of these contributions and learnings, I published the Mobile First Bootstrap book by Packt Publishing in December 2013.
I’m not just a strong professional with technical experience and expertise who loves to share my knowledge, I have worked in my open source project, Gitpay, a bounty platform to solve issues from projects with a growing community of contributors around the world. If that weren’t enough, I have my lab experience with the internet of things, programming with Arduino and microcontrollers, and I have my automated indoor garden system. I am an early adopter of agile methodologies, and my life is a scrum board, or how do you think I can manage all of this?
