Phone Sales Rep (Inbound Only) Needed for Salsa & Bachata Dance Academy

Greetings!
No phone experience needed but you must be totally comfortable on the phone and love speaking to people.
Preferably you're in Central America or South America.
I'm a professional salsa & bachata dancer and I run the largest salsa & bachata dance academy in Los Angeles.
We need a superstar on the phone to speak with incoming leads.
There is NO cold calling. This is inbound only since every day the phone rings with prospective students who want to learn.
They already want to learn to dance. Your job is to help them learn about the programs, find the group or private lessons that are the best fit, and lead them through the enrollment.
This is NOT hard selling. We never push anything. This is soft selling where the sole purpose is to lead each person in the direction that is truly best for them.
The goal on the phone is to help them feel as if they're talking to their best friend. This is a very different feeling and approach than traditional, formal corporate customer service. It's a lot more enjoyable both for you and for them.
Payment is via commission. Commission percentages will be shared after you apply.
You will be given a comprehensive script to help you. I've done this for 7 years and already know exactly what to say, and how to say it, for every situation. If you study the script and all the scenarios until you know them like the back of your hand, it becomes easy and fun and your closing rate will be close to 100%.
I like to work with people long term! Hopefully we are a great team and that will be possible. The opportunity is currently part-time with the intention of growing towards full-time asap. Right now we average two incoming leads per day. In 2023 we are expanding aggressively to other cities and lead volume will increase significantly.
Your first mission is to learn the script and scenarios rapidly until you've mastered them. A single week of full-time focus should be enough to learn it. Once you've got that down, the job is simply to answer calls when they come in, take care of the leads, and get paid a percentage when they join programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn the script quickly
- Answer the phone
- Respond to text message and emails with the goal of getting prospects on the phone
- Follow up with prospects as needed until you get a clear yes or no (typically little or no followup is needed)
- Update the manager daily
SCHEDULE:
Flexibility is important. Students may call at any hour on any day of the week. Answering the phone, or at least calling them back very quickly, is often the difference between successfully getting a new student or not.
ABOUT YOU:
- Spanish/English bilingual
- Interested in salsa and/or bachata dancing & music (you don't need to be a dancer, but if you enjoy the music and/or watching the dancing, that will help a lot)
- Totally comfortable on the phone. Can quickly build rapport and help people feel at ease
- Charismatic
- Experience talking on the phone professionally is a plus, but not required
- Experience selling on the phone is a big plus, but not required
- Quick and creative thinker. Can adjust your approach on the phone as needed for each person's unique situation (this is NOT the traditional corporate robotic approach).
- Can learn and adjust quickly
- Always asking yourself how to improve and do better and able to methodically track what's working and what should change
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Great attention to detail
