End Goal is we are doing research to recommend a CMS platform that will allow for future growth of a online business and also be able to leverage existing communities. Would be great if we could find a CMS/Framework that would allow us to use plugins from all the major cms' (joomla, wordpress etc)
Need a report listing various CMS options, their pros and cons.
Different database platforms their pros and cons
How easy these databases are to integrate into the the CMS options and any issues that might encountered.
Some of the things that will need to be covered are pricing, availability of developers, scalability, plugin architectures, how they are extended. security and enhancements you can do to make the systems more secure.
Framework Details
Different frameworks and the pros and cons of building a custom CMS with these (zend, yii + others must be included.
