The EU Food Safety Authority developed this nice database of toxins called OpenFoodTox: [login to view URL] . OpenFoodTox provides open source data for the substance characterization, the links to EFSA’s related output, background European legislation, and a summary of the critical toxicological endpoints and reference values.
I have large datasets (e.g. a spreadsheets listing over 4000 chemicals found in potential foods). What I am looking for is someone to write an open source software to scan the OpenFoodTox database and spit out the pdf report of every chemical from my spreadsheet that is listed in OpenFoodTox.
