Wordpress template php changes

The website uses the pointfinder theme and is now using buddypress for the user management. The following is what still needs to be completed.
1) Currently the author can’t review their own product, we want to change it so they can.
2) On the review page the review author image no longer shows. Users now add their profile picture through buddypress.
I have the file locations to make it easier.
We will be doing this on the demo website as not to disturb the running website. I would like to have each change to be commented above so I know what changes have been done and I will need to know each file that was changed so I can upload them to the running website.

This is a simple job that could be done in under an hour, just need to take a look at the template files and re-route the images and remove the code preventing the author to review his own products.
