This is a Magento website that was created in 2008. 99.9% uptime for this Magento website is CRITICAL.
It is currently running Magento ver. 1.9.0.1.
YOUR PROJECT:
We want to implement a new theme for the Magento website that is mobile responsive. You will need to reskin this theme to match the existing website. If you require .PSDs or mockups, we will provide them.
All the functionality of the website must remain the same. If you need to build the new theme on a separate server, all the most current order data must be imported into the new site before launch. We cannot lose any customer information or order data in this transition.
New Customizations:
We want to add a question during checkout: "Do you certify that all the details in you order are correct?"
If the user answers yes, he proceeds to checkout. If the user answers no, he must be able to edit the product.
Currently, when the user tries to edit a product, all the custom option that the user has selected disappear. The product MUST retain the custom options so that the user can change them.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Last year, we paid a developer to update our Magento theme. This year, when we tried to hire a developer to complete the project above, he told us that our Magento theme is too old and needs to be replaced. We want you to give us your professional opinion about the status of our Magento theme. Does it need to be replaced? Can you replace it and skin it to match? How will you implement the new theme without bringing the website down?
