Job Description:
For this project we would like you to create an app with correlating back end. You will be responsible for the whole project, from programming the app and the back end to testing the final version for bugs. You will also have to build a design based on our functional mock ups, create a REST-API and database schema documentation for the system.
App description:
The main idea is to track the battery status of multiple devices by creating an account and registering the wanted devices.
The app should provide the necessary information to the user so he will know when one of his devices has low battery. The user should also have the ability to activate notifications that should trigger when one of his devices’ battery falls below a certain threshold. The app should run in the background and send the current battery status after certain intervals.
Back end Description:
The back end has to be written in PHP and should be deployable on a normal web space. The app and the back end have to communicate using a REST-API with JSON strings. Modern security standards have also to be implemented (for example session tokens). The data has to be stored in a MySQL database.
Further Information:
It is planned to implement the same functionality also for Windows and IOS devices. If you do a good job we can discuss further employment.
