OsCommerce Search Engine Improvement

We run an CRE Loaded Oscommerce store. Currently the built in search engine only queries the Products for sale.

As you may know... if you have used OSCommerce. There is an information section and news desk section. Most OsCommerce stores post information in these zones. I would like my customers to be able to search the information that I have written in the "Information Section" of my website.

Scroll down until you see the information box. This is the box that can populated with tons of information.

I have added many topics inside my information box... I need it to be searchable and display accurate results. If you have an example of how you have already done this... please send me the link!
