I need a phone app developed for the android operating system. The layout of the phone will be similar to the Audible app. You will be able to use one audio file to create an audiobook or string together multiple audio files to make one audio book.
Information about each audiobook, the playback position, order of files, location of files on phone, bookmarks will all be stored in the database. It will let the user know which audio files have been backed up and which ones have not. They can redownload files to the same location that it was located on the phone previously.
Additionlly there will be a feature to create mp3 files from Youtube and Vimeo videos. They can search either of those services through the app. Next to each video based on their search they can check off which ones they want converted. Those videos that are converted will be stored on Amazon S3. They will be able to see which of their audios are stored in the cloud (they can upload their own audio files to the cloud in addition to the ones converted from youtube). I have another service created by someone else that will see which videos need to be converted and then will update the database with the location (will be somewhere on Amazon S3) of the converted audio file. See they can see which files are located in the cloud and then be able to download them.
We will also keep track of how much mb they are using and limit it based on their membership level. I own a customer management system that is able to take payments and keep track of membership levels so we will just have to use the api to take care of that.
