Add Ajax Call to Template Page

I have a current page that loads the basic information for six posts at a time. I want an Jquery/Ajax call tied with CSS to add next and back buttons(preferably round gray buttons with arrows) to the sides and middle of the div that will load the next/previous 6 posts without a full page refresh.
