I need a new website. I need you to design and build my online store. This is what I am looking to do in a whole right now:

There will be three types of customers: end user, commercial, and distributor. Each customer type will have a different set of prices for the same inventory items.

When someone initially registers they will default to being an “end user” and get end user pricing. However, their registration must be approved by a website administrator prior to their logging in and seeing even end user pricing. The registration process must ask what type of account they are requesting: end-user, commercial, or distribution, as well as a their representative’s rep number. If after being vetted their account profile is then modified by one of the website administrators to be either “commercial” or “distributor” then they should be getting a different base price for commercial and a different base price for distributor. No user after registering should be able to see any part of the website until approved by a website administrator. A field should also exist that states if a contract has been signed. For end-users this field can default to Yes, if commercial or distribution user type is requested, this field must default to no. There must also be a standard display of terms and conditions that the user requesting an account must click an agree button too, or be kicked out of the registration process if they do not accept the terms. Either way, their acceptance or rejection of the terms along with all the information they entered already should be saved. The acceptance or rejection of the terms should be the last thing they do in the registration process so that all of the user data (their name, address, etc…) has already been collectd and saved in the database, though a field set to “no” that indicates they rejected the basic terms and conditions they were shown during the last part of the registration process.

The user profile will also have a sales representative number that corresponds to a database of sales representatives. Each customer profile will have a base discount amount that is able to be customized. In addition, their customer profile will be able to have an unlimited number of different levels of quantity discounts for certain percentages (order more than X, get an additional discount of y). However, in no instance shall the ordering system allow for an inventory item price combined with all of the discounts a customer gets to sell the item below cost with a managerial override.

When an inventory item is added it will have a unique alphanumeric inventory number, a unique numeric inventory number, a cost price, an end-user base selling price, a distributor base selling price, and a commercial base selling price, a minimum order quantity (the minimum order quantity does NOT apply to end-users, only commercial and distributor users). The inventory item should have a way to have a picture associated with it as well as textual description of the inventory item. The website should be able to keep track of current inventory based on orders deducting from the inventory. When a commercial or distributor user orders an item, the website should check at the time of ordering that they are order the minimum order quantity.

The database of representatives should be able to have their name, address, phone numbers (home, mobile, office, etc…) and a unique numeric representative number.

A customer profile must also be inclusive of the ability for us to save credit card information (number, expiration, 3-4 digit verification number, billing address, shipping address, contact phone numbers, email addresses, etc…).

A separate notice will alert the customer that approval of their account may take up to 72 hours to be approved. Once verified and completed, the user will receive a login and a temporary password that will allow them to login and initially be forced to setup a password that is a minimum of 8 characters long (though can be longer), has a minimum of 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 numeric, and 1 special character.

All users will have the same layout as if they were shopping on any consumer website (sleek and easy viewing and ordering).

The look I would like is to be very simple and contemporary and offer any and all ease of ordering process for all three types.

Types of emails I would like to be sent out:

Customer inquiry request, registration complete, welcome letter/account set up and completed - login and password sent, order processed, order on hold or not placed for more than 12 hours and sitting in cart, reminder email for an account that has been inactive for more than 7 days, specials and sales, registration form incomplete or not finished - sent within 30 min and again in 24 hours

There should be an initial check and accept of rules/regs for everyone that states that we will be allowed to contact them through emails but we do not sell their information and all the other stuff I will put in.

The website should be designed to use WordPress and woocommerce. WordPress will be installed within a Linux environment (ostensibly CentOS). The developer must be willing to provide ALL source code for any pages or APIs they develop as well as to sign documents transferring all copyrights and patents for the developed website to our company. No intellectual property will remain untransferred to us, unless it a programming library or API that the developer licensed from another entity.

Additionally, please be willing to answer the following questions:

a) In what environment do you do your development?
b) What scripting languages will you be using when called for?
c) During what times in US Pacific Time zone are you available to chat or speak voice?
d) Do you have a US based telephone number?
e) After reading our specifications, what questions do you have for us?
f) How long do you expect the total development time to be?
g) How long is the warranty provided for any bugs that are discovered for the current scope of work?
