API to API Communication Engine

Looking for an information transfer engine from one eCommerce platform to another (for resale purposes). Both platforms are REST API driven. This middleware application will exist to:
1) Aggregate images, price and text description fields via REST API
2) Store these temporarily (up to 24 hours) (via AWS S3 or Rackspace Cloud Files)
3) Structure a call to another REST API with the housed information
3a) The data will either be uploaded in bulk (multiple products) or one at a time
4) Support for individual user accounts w/ linked credentials and API keys (kept encrypted/secured)
5) Front/backend technologies are flexible, I'm not set on any particular language/framework
Important things to note:
- High school level or higher English language reading/writing/speaking skills are needed
- Taking on this project requires a non-disclosure and non-compete agreement. You will not be allowed to re-use this code for another project.
- If this project looks professional and takes off the way I expect it will, this will be a phase one and I will be sending you the next phases to work on
- Sorry for the vagueness, but the details can be discussed in an offline manner
