We are a Houseboat Rental Company. We take direct bookings on our website using a third party booking engine called TheBookingButton developed by SiteMinder.

TheBookingButton user interface is well suited for Hotels but does not meet our needs.

We are looking for someone that can develop a new user interface using API calls to TheBookingButton to get availability and rates. Once the user has selected a boat and dates, then he will be directed to TheBookingButton for collection of user details, credit card details etc.

We want to use [login to view URL] to implement the booking interface. We want the booking interface to work the same as airbnb. Not the entire airbnb site. Just the calendar. Please have a look at how their calendar view implements things like minimum stay. How available days are in green and then how the colour of the dates change when a user selects a check-in date. The colours of the the days change based on things like minimum stay, closed to arrival, closed to departure, etc. The booking interface must display total price based on the boat and dates selected. Most of the user interface is probably already done in airbnb's library react-dates listed before.

TheBookingButton can be slow at times so we will have to develop some backend cache system to store availability and rates so that the user has a more responsive experience when using our newly developed booking interface.
