Recreate this book as a video animation

Hey Animators,
I have a creative and simple book called "How Big Is Our Universe?" that I want to recreate as a animated video. The book is easy to read and rather short ~70 thin pages. Since I am not an animator I don't know what programs are best suited for this project, so I will leave that to you to decide. However, this is the type of animation and quality I am looking for:
