System Description:
We are seeking proposals from proficient development teams to construct a dynamic Staffing and Communication Platform. The system aims to enhance communication between entities by streamlining staffing processes, request submissions, and response management. The development stack should include ASP.NET Core MVC and APIs for data retrieval and manipulation, leverage SQL Server for data storage, be deployable in a Docker environment on local PCs for development purposes, and ultimately, be scalable and compatible with Azure for cloud deployment.
High-Level Requirements:
1. User Authentication and Authorization:
• Implement secure user authentication with role-based access control.
• Support multiple user roles, ensuring proper authorization.
2. Staffing Requests:
• Develop APIs for entities to submit staffing requests with customizable parameters.
• Ensure a scalable solution for data retrieval and manipulation.
3. Response Management:
• Implement APIs for entities to view and respond to staffing requests.
• Enable a scalable approach for tracking responses and confirmations.
4. Database Design:
• Utilize SQL Server for robust data storage.
• Design a scalable database schema supporting users, entities, staffing requests, and responses.
5. Communication Module:
• Implement an API-driven internal messaging module for seamless communication.
• Archive messages for reference purposes.
6. Enhancements (Updates):
• Introduce additional API features such as group association and lookup tables.
7. Entity Relationship Diagram (Update):
• The requester will provide an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) as part of the system design documentation.
8. Agile User Stories (Update):
• The requester will provide Agile user stories as part of the system design documentation.
9. Active Request Filtering:
• Implement APIs for displaying and filtering active staffing requests.
10. Deployment in Docker Containers (Development):
• Containerize the application using Docker for consistent deployment on local PCs.
• Ensure scalability and compatibility with SQL Server.
11. Cloud Deployment (Azure):
• Ensure the system is designed to be scalable and compatible with Azure for ultimate cloud deployment.
12. Technology Stack (Update):
• Utilize ASP.NET Core MVC for web application development.
13. User Interface (Web Application):
• Develop a user-friendly web interface for staffing request and confirmation processes.
• Facilitate a seamless experience for users involved in the request and confirmation workflow.
