I am in search of a talented and experienced 3D artist to create a stylized 3D model of a cute monster based on the provided image (see attachment). The model should be crafted in Blender and optimized for use in virtual reality environments, games, or interactive applications, meaning it should have a low polygon count while still retaining high visual quality.
Specific Project Requirements:
Low-Poly 3D Modeling:
The modeling must be done with an efficient polygon count to ensure the model is lightweight yet capable of detailed and expressive features.
Object Phase Separation:
The eye should be modeled and textured as a separate phase (part) of the model.
The head should be another separate phase to enable future animations.
The body should be a third phase, allowing it to be manipulated or animated independently from the other parts.
Texturing and Materials:
The freelancer will be responsible for creating the textures for the monster, which should be vibrant and high-quality. Textures should include diffusion, normal, and specular maps as needed.
Textures should be optimized for low-poly efficiency while maintaining the visual aesthetics of the provided design.
File Format:
The final model should be delivered in .blend format, with all materials and textures properly linked.
Including exports in common 3D file formats (.obj, .fbx) would be a plus.
Delivery Criteria:
The model must be visually comparable to the provided image, capturing the character and feel of the original design.
The model must be cleanly renderable, without visual artifacts or texture issues.
Selection Process:
Please provide a portfolio of your previous work demonstrating your skills in 3D modeling and texturing, especially in stylized styles with polygon constraints. Previous experience with models for gaming or VR will be considered a plus.
Budget and Deadlines:
I am open to proposals and would like to discuss the budget based on the freelancer's experience and the quality of their portfolio. The timeline for project completion is flexible, but I am aiming to have the model finalized within 4 weeks after the selection of the freelancer.
