Academic news searcher for natural health, nutrition, environment and medicine topics

We are looking for a qualified freelancer who can scan a long list of academic news sources we provide (university websites, science journal websites) and can identify interesting announcements for our team. This position is for a publisher of environmental science news, and we need help identifying breaking news from science and academic sources.

A good candidate for this work will have strong familiarity with academic and science writing, while also possessing an ability to mentally translate the scientific lingo into more everyday language for non-scientists.
