My Second Entry: Defining Front Matter
Hi, there. I've been working on the manuscript, but I keep finding that the best treatment I could offer would be contingent on things I do not know. Namely, have you written or outlined the rest of the book? Do you know the names of the other chapters? If so, could they be easily grouped into sections? If they could, would you be willing to utilize "Parts" or "Sections" – basically, a short preface to each group of chapters? I feel that if all of these questions were answered affirmatively, and if you would share with me either the entire list of part and chapter titles (preferred) or just the title of the part that Chapter 01 falls into, then I could provide for you: - my interjected light-hearted humor - as embedded into a near-final draft of tight, edited prose - that also illustrates what might be the most finished looking view of your book that you've seen. The attached submission is to illustrate my knowledge of book layout and my ability to execute that knowledge. Thanks!

I would like to create a Copyright Page and the Table of Contents page for you, as well as create Part Opening and Chapter Opening schemes, but I would rather not make them with imaginary information if at all possible. My hope is that you will provide me with a book title and (even temporary, placeholder) names for the other chapters of the book. With this information, my next submission will encompass everything. Hi. It's probably obvious, but I'm not suggesting you use this image as your book cover, or even the title. I wanted to create a title so that I could show how the Half Title and Title pages look. Likewise, I am not suggesting that you employ WeaselWorks Freelance Press (as might be intimated by the Title page).
