Sittingbull Ventures is an innovative startup that will offer services to a broad range of corporate and brand clients, as well as to individuals. The business will offer serious services, but we want a logo that evokes a sense of mischief and fun too. Here is an example of what we regard as a fun agency logo: https://www.manbitesdog.com/

The name ‘Sittingbull’ was chosen because it was the nickname given to the company’s founder by the headmaster as his first school, because the founder was regarded as highly intuitive/perceptive and knowledgable/thoughtful, but also as very quiet and highly composed. These qualities, that headmaster decided, reflected those of the famous American Indian called Sittingbull.

Please note that we do not want any references to the Native American Sittingbull in our design. Our thinking is not fully developed, but we’d like to explore what we could do with a visual interpretation of ‘a sitting bull’. A simple bull sitting down? A bull sitting in an old fashioned chair? A bull riding a space rocket? We are open to ideas, but we want something that stands out for being a bit different and fun and for not being too sensible or corporate.

We are looking for a logo that works as a flat visual icon (no text) that could be easily embossed and/or printed in a single solid color, without losing the image. We would also like a second variant that incorporates the company name as text.

This competition is to source the best idea. After awarding the competition, we expect that idea to be fully developed and delivered to our full satisfaction.
