Engineering and graphic design looks like they're worlds apart but they are joined together by a common trait, attention to detail. While keenness might not seem important in engineering as problem-solving is, it does matter when it comes to drafting. I am a registered mechanical engineer and I have been using AutoCAD for two years now, with most experience working with shop drawings and editing MEP Plans.. I have also spent 5 years as a layout artist for the Philippine Collegian, the weekly publication of the University of the Philippines, where I finished my undergraduate studies.
