French Translator and Community Manager

ABOUT US: We are a rapidly growing eCommerce that sells video chess courses and a production arm that specializes in the production of chess courses. We’ve been in business for over 10 years working with remote teams and operate a team of 15+ remote employees. We have a flexible and progressive company culture and provide our team extensive hands on training on the latest marketing techniques. This position will start on small tasks trials with the opportunity to transition to a part-time after a 4-6 week trial period. French Translator and Community Manager (FTCM): The FTCM will be responsible to support the acquisition of long term clients in the French language through translation and promotion of RCA content including, but not limited to RCA website, free lessons, social media messages and landing pages. Translation of English courses into French. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: *Translate the RCA website, including the sub-sections of the website, into French. *Answer the emails from the French clients. *Research and assist in creating a strategic plan for the promotion of RCA French products in the French speaking market. *Assist in the acquisition of French partners for the distribution of RCA products. *Assist in achieving a better Google page ranking by optimizing the blog post based on French keywords. *Strong interpersonal and “soft” skills. *Availability to work normal business hours. MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS: *Knowledge of the online chess market in French. *Promotional skills to sell online courses. *To know chess and to have Project management experience. *To know how to use the MS PowerPoint program. *To know how to record videos (screencast). *Experience managing developers, designers and virtual assistants. *Strong English and French language skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: *Previous experience working with an eCommerce site whose main business model is selling digital downloads/courses. *Experience working with remote teams. *Wordpress, WooCommerce, LeadPages, and Infusionsoft. *A love for chess.
