Joomla template modification with a few graphic modifications, and make simple sample Hika shop

Not sure why all other widgets are black and fine, but one page is all red. 5. I need a picture made to look like faded/opaque , like looking through a shade or layer over it. You can still see image but its not as sharp so you can see text over it. Understand? 6. Make 3 product categories and 3 products in each one, with each product having 5 variable options to pick from each. I'll supply examples.
