Error 160 occurs in QuickBooks when the QuickBooks face an internal damage i.e. damage QuickBooks file. This issue can be resolved if you will perform the reinstallation process: • Go to control panel and choose “programs and features”. • Then click on “Uninstall”. Its 2 possibilities: #1 What I have faced myself: Error 1603 Its the .NET Framework you have an issue with. I have faced the same issue. Check the year of Quickbooks Version. If its before 2017 then go to the link (at the end) and download and install version 3.5 (SP1)..and if QB version is above 2017 thjen download the latest update (4.72 - same link). Install it and say "In your face Quickbooks..XD" #2 Your setup file is corrupt: Error 1601 Simple terms..tell quickbooks to give you a new setup file (which you click to install - the .exe one) and tell them that your installer file is corrupt (if you are actually calling them)..they'd give you a download link for it. download and install..and say "In your face Quickbooks..XD" Regards, Manpreet Juneja
