Help setting up an adult themed Magento store

I need your help setting up an adult themed Magento store. If the subject matter is not for you please do not continue reading through this project description.

Here is where I stand. I am a total newbie to Magento. My hosting service is Godaddy and I installed Magento there. My website is her.co.ke. That’s about it. I want to purchase this template [login to view URL] and make it my site.

For the time being I want to use this site just as an online catalog. Online ordering will, for now not be possible. Therefore I need all features that relate to online ordering und shipping temporarily disabled. However I want to have that done in such a way that I can enable them at any time without it being a mayor undertaking.

Basically I need the start page similar to the template without shopping, payment, shipping … links. The menu should have a link to “About Us” and all categories. All the categories will have sub categories as shown in the template. Choosing a sub category will display all the products available. Clicking on the product will open an overlay or page, like as in the template, with detailed product information. The user should be able to create an account to use the compare and wish list feature including its share feature.

From our wholesaler I have feeds (XML, CSV or XSL) with the product data and a zip file with all the pictures. The pictures names included the item number and a consecutive number if there is more than one picture.

I need your help with the following things:

• What parts of the template do I need to purchase? Do I need to purchase a clone of the demo store?

• How to integrate the template.

• How to temporarily disable some of the functions (ordering, paying, shipping …) but keep compare and wish list

• How to customize the start page (replace the logo with my own ; replace the logos for the scrolling banner; replace the pictures for the slide; add a block of text describing our concept)

• How to add a page with link from the menu bar for a more detailed description of our company.

• How to import the product data.

• How and into which folder to download the product pictures.

• Information on what would be needed to automatically update my store with my suppliers feeds.

I will purchase and pay for the template. There are two ways we can do this project.

1. I give you the login credentials for my store and you do all the work

2. Or, what I would prefer, you talk me through everything and I do the work myself.
