Greetings,
We're seeking an experienced designer/developer to design and develop our new website for us. The site will consist of approx. 15 pages. We're a freight forwarding service.
1. Home Page (simple, with an intro video (we'll prepare the video), one CTA button, and all the essentials found on most home pages (Abous Us, Sign Up/In, FAQ, Contact, etc).
2. Create account page (user will enter very basic information in this form). User-specific credentials will be generated at this point.
3. Verify submitted email address system (email template sent, featuring confirmation link, as well as confirmation code that can be manually entered). eMail template will need to have a branded design to it as well - we're not interested in generic text only messages.
3. View/Review/Edit submitted data page (My account).
4. Subscription Level page (see present membership type, show explainer/info graphic comparing membership types, ability to upgrade/change membership level).

9. My Orders page (this page will show orders the customer has en route - including tracking details, generated via API from various global post sites). Ability to manage orders, request orders to be put on hold, shipped later, etc.

Admin:
1. Administer orders, accounts, etc.
2. Update tracking codes for every order in the most efficient/logical way possible (handheld scanner).
3. Multi-user support (incl. user permissions/levels)
Automation:
1. eMails will need to be sent to customers during certain events.
I am certain there will probably be a few more pages- hence my estimate being in the range of 15~18.
We're looking for a clean, simple, uncluttered, aesthetically pleasing design. We target customers mostly over the age of 40: clean, large buttons/fonts, easy to navigate, with absolute minimum number of actions required to be taken for desired result.
I understand, the most annoying feature of Freelancer, is the automation of submissions. We will need both Web responsive design, and Mobile responsive design here. Please be sure your offer covers everything outline here. The final designs will be presented to us in psd files, or whatever the preferred standard is by developers these days (I believe, psd's are the defacto go-to format?)
Your code must be clean: comments throughout, to ensure easy transition to our team of in-house devs once this is done (they're working on other projects at the moment).
To make your life easier, I'm very responsive, and work online all day. I'll be able to provide you feedback in real-time (during working hours and evenings, European time).
Please provide a bid that is binding. Few things annoy me more here than 'placeholder' bids. I accept the bid, project is awarded, then the freelancer starts to negotiate, and change their bid. I'm as interested in this, as you would be in the client changing the workload, after a fee is agreed upon.
Please submit 2-3 examples of work you feel may be relevant. Kindly, do not flood me with a dozen irrelevant/unrelated projects or work done by others (ie. you're an agency submitting random portfolios of your staff). We prefer to work with 'you', not people you manage.
