I have more than 3 yrs experience working using 3ds max. because Maya is more used then 3ds max I have to transfer models, and assets form Maya to 3ds max and Vice versa a slot of time.

Hi there :) I can export the .3ds file as an FBX then import it into Maya and then save it as a Maya file. Or Maya bonus Tools... It's a huge file so this will be a challenge! btw I'm running the Autodesk Entertainment Suite 2016 so the actual software isn't a problem. Let me know how you feel! songsmif :)
