I am attempting to change the appearance of my current site to fit our companies Branding & Style. We identify as a lifestyle brand that handcrafts, designs, and builds holsters, gun belts, and other textile products. Our services include custom tailored holsters and gun belts, a full suite of laser engraving from Fiber to C02 engraving machines. The applications are endless and we still focus on the firearms industry side utilizing the Fiber laser. The C02 allows for us to cut and engrave wood, acrylic, and other materials to create signs, clocks, you name it. The style we are going for is a modern e-commerce style site focusing on product and clean lines. Color preference would be mostly any color staying monochromatic. The colors should be appealing to the eye and the audience. I would like to have sections such as my current site, however, trying to streamline the navigation, the product listings and simplify the maneuverability and search functions for products. If possible, include a way to upload products to my site from a vendor. Please no beaches or palm tree backgrounds. Elegant colors and layout. Examples of sites styles that could help in design would be [login to view URL] (Boosted Boards), even more so [login to view URL] (includes social media, photo gallery, reviews, etc.) I need that functionality included. With that being said, I’m glad you are going to update the website, because it doesn’t do your products justice.. There is a lot of potential here to make a beautifully designed website that matches your brand, and also makes your customers feel a sense of awe when they visit the site. The design should certainly be changed, as well as the UX (functionality). Currently there are too many clicks to get to product pages. Something minimalistic, modern, tactical look with grayscale colors like carbon fiber. Something like Metal Gear. A bit of military touch but not too shiny. I am a marketer, copywriter and web designer. I am curious, have you ever decided on a USP for your brand? Is it the line. "Build the highest quality holster"? I hate to be blunt but it's kinda weak and does not make you stand out from other holster makers. How about "Engraving Tactical Advantage to Your Equipment. Quicker Draw. Better Accuracy", that's just from the top of my mind. Something specific and benefit oriented. I can also help to present your website with better organization. In your navigation bar, you should combine the about us and contact page to lessen the clutter. Remove home because your logo alone can do that.
