I have recently launched an online store for our physical shop here in Japan. I have very little experience with Search Engine Optimization (ok, I have no experience in this field...). Thus, I am searching for someone who will adjust our current website (product database, meta tags, descriptions, etc) to ensure we will be picked up by search engines, using keywords which are (truly) unique to our store. Primarily, we are interested in high placement in search results on Google, etc, when a user enters in the product catalog number (aka Manufacturer's part number) or the EAN/UPC code (all this information is already stored in our product database. We feature mostly unique products, so we're not too concerned about competitors having placement ahead of us, simply because many product codes/EANs we have, yield very few results on Google to begin with, and if they do- most are "Out of stock" items, or old pages. We only list items we stock, so naturally we'd like high placement and visibility, based, primarily on searches using the item's product code, EAN, or, ultimately, product title. The better your work/results, the higher the likelihood of subsequent projects being awarded to you (we have many to offer, on a weekly basis).
