Web Designer

I am looking to immediately hire a Web Designer to work on landing pages, and template designs. Duration: 1-2 weeks [removed by admin] We have an immediate need for a Web Designer to work on a short term consulting assigment . The consultant is needed to re-design and migrate a group of existing Websites to a new Web Portal built in Drupal Platform. Client wants to combine all the existing sites under this into a single portal. Client would like to migrate all existing features of the current site into the new site. Client will be providing a set of screen layouts for the new Drupal based website. The candidate will be responsible for the overall look and feel of the web portal being built and should understand browser usability, cross-platform compatibility, color and quick loading of images. The candidate should be able to Work as part of a collaborative team and also independently. This position requires understanding of web-based technologies and thorough knowledge of HTML, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and/or other design-related applications. Skill Set required : • Must have experience designing web portals for large corporations. • Design easy to use, customer-focused websites that work across all platforms and browsers • Create site wireframes, IA (information Architecture), mockups, and graphics using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. • Produce web layouts using clean, modern, and standards-compliant HTML and CSS. • Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements. • Work with the programming team on integrating designs in to Drupal or any other CMS based web portals. • Superior skills in the areas of typography, layout, animation, and icon design • Clearly communicate project details to both technical and non-technical clients in verbal and written form.A college degree in fine arts or graphic design is preferred.
