Gecko Websites ([login to view URL]) is a website development company, which provides all the various products and services that are required to design, build and manage any type of website. There are a lot of different components which together make up a website. They include common items such as domain names and hosting, but also lesser known items such as SSL certificates and anti-spam software.
Some of our clients who are technically inclined simply get a domain and hosting account from us, then proceed to put together their own site from scratch. Others use our point-and-click website building software to help themselves, even though they are not tech savvy at all. The next group will have us put their website together, but then they manage it on their own. The final group has us do everything, including content changes, SEO, social media management and so on.
We are looking for a VA (virtual assistant) to work about 4 hours a week. The hours may increase, depending on how effective the VA turns out to be. We're looking for someone who can take charge, create policies and procedures, manage projects and people, and simply get the job done.
The VA would be responsible for keeping track of all open projects and ensuring that they are being worked on in a timely manner. Deadlines will be created by the VA, monitored and adjusted as needed. Weekly summary reports will be handed in by the VA which provide an overview of each project and the stage it's at.
The VA may be required to source out graphic designers, website programmers, content writers, social media assistants and others to assist with the projects. The VA would also be the primary hub of information for those outsourced professionals, our client, and ourselves.
The VA should be able to work independently, create new systems, keep everyone on task, and communicate well.
The VA may also be required to find new prospective clients and contact them via phone, email and/or social media.

Familiar with project management softwares like Zoho, bug tracking, CRM tools like Salesforce, Social Media management, Creating and managing landing pages, QA and hiring/ managing remote teams.
