ABOUT ME: I am a Brazilian freelancer, proof-reader of PhD candidates’ thesis and diverse types of academic writings for more than ten years, indeed since before I have concluded my first degree in teaching Portuguese as maternal language. I am also a writer and produce academic papers on my research interests, which I have published in Brazilian peer review magazines and in conference publications. Besides these publications, I write literature in my blog, most of which I have presented in Portuguese, my maternal language. In my blog, several posts are elaborated following the Brazilian variant of the Portuguese language, but from time to time I enjoy writing some in the European Portuguese spelling, but these latter are just few of my blog posts.
ABOUT HOW I PERFORM MY JOB: I will assist you to better your writing concerning the semantic and syntactic aspects of the Portuguese language with focus on the Brazilian variant of the idiom.
I use the Word program and its proofreading tools. I deliver to my client two files: one Word file with the text corrected and edited, and one PDF (or in Word format, if you want) file with all the adjustments (I mean: corrections, and suggestions of any type, when I judge as necessary) done to your writing.
ABOUT TIME: I can proofread 20.000 words in five days. However, I will better perform the task within two weeks, when I will be able to read and proofread the whole writing for at least twice, according to its demands.
