Hello, May I ask you to clarify job details? Is this correct that path always starts from point #1? I guess the point #1 is the first item in the list loaded into program. Is this correct? What is “other data” in addition to XY that should be taken into account? What criterion should be used to recognize path as “smart”? Please clarify. Kind regards, Sergiy

We have been into IT since 1994 and have done a vast number of software (from Dos+Foxpro, dbase III+, VB4/5/6 to C# specially serial/parallel hardware interfacing solutions and socket programming) tasks for our clients. Would it be safe to presume the x,y are positive values only? That is, they will always be referenced from 0,0? This looks like a thought invoking project specially after reading the PDF. I am not confident about this work but give me a day to think. Kindly keep my id reference for any other VB6 work, specially if it concerns com or parallel port interfacing but not limited to that.
