software needed to connect to PC or MAC from anywhere

Hi there. Can you specify a little bit more about the 'connect to mac and pc' part? You want remote control PC and Mac and vice versa, right? Is it a LAN or Internet connection? Do you have a user interface for this program? What languages am I allowed to use to develop this software? Also, when do you plan to start this project, and when is the deadline, if there is one?
