Return value problem on Python 3.6 running python 2.7

Hello, I work as a Data Scientist at Gleason Corporation, Rochester, New York for about 9 months now. I have 2+ years of prior experience in Analytics and Software Development. I am really excited about this job as it meets my passion of programming and sharing my knowledge. During the day at my fulltime job, I write in python language to automate data collection, analysis/anomaly detection and prediction in real time data pipelines using SVM, ANOVA, ARIMA, Logistic Regression and various clustering algorithms along with time series analysis. I am pretty active on programming Q&A platform StackOverflow where I have answered many questions (Reputation of 4.7k+) in the field of pandas, python, matplotlib and machine-learning. My answers are in top 2%-4% of all time. I also work as a Community Data Scientist at Method Data Science where I work for startups, solving their data analytics problems. In my free time, I contribute to open source projects like coala (a tool to automate projects). I have gained excellent customer satisfaction. I am more than willing to share my academic and industry references upon request. I would love to hear back and talk more about the projects that I have completed.
