Hello, I have a Python application that receives 4 parameters to login into a web application and execute a scrapping script to download some files from this web application. The web app requires captcha so the user is prompted to enter this captcha before you can continue. This applications doesn't have any GUI so we currently run it in the command line. Also, you will need to install python on your computer and some python libraries before being able to run it. PLEASE WATCH VIDEO ATTACHED. WHAT WE NEED is to create a desktop app that creates a user interface for this code so there is no need to run command lines AND should have an application installer that installs Python and the libraries that will be needed to run it. In other words we want to simplify this process for final users. Ideally the application should work on MacOS and Windows .. but if you only can do it for either Windows or MacOS, please comment... I can convert your Python code to the Windows and Mac executables based on Qt framework. GUI will allow you to input login/password and other params. Also it will show CAPTCHA image. The only problem I see right now is pdftotext utility you're using right now. I'm not sure I can insert it into my executable. I need a bit more time to check it (actally I'm 90% sure that this is possible). Thanks. Roman

Hello i can implement a simple GUI program in java that will call the program you have in python and run it java would be a great alternative for this cause it could be ran on any OS for the installation i worked before on windows installers and for MACOS it is simillar to linux and its easier Thank you in advance

Hey there! I have read your description and checked the code and video samples. From what i understand is that you need a 1. Interface to enter the 4 details ( which combines them into one string and passes to the program ) 2. An entry within the interface for entering capctha 3. A .exe program to auto install all the dependencies needed for the program to run ** I will create the GUI in tkinter in order to decrease the dependencies that are needed for the program to run. ** Will create a .exe file which installs all the requirements. Hi Sir, I went through your project description, and even the video. The developer who did the work, done pretty well. i can do the work, and can come up with nic gui or if you want i can build web interface such that it works on a cloud platform. so what ever now you are doing, then at that time you can do it through web, and the results will be mailed to you or through dropbox. out of the above two options, which one you prefer GUI (both for windows, and mac), so the end users no need to install packages and wont have problem in running it. second option is, accessing the application through web interface, so forget about sharing and installing the application, who even is having credentials they can run the program. I have an extensive experience with python (as a Gentoo Linux developer and using python regularly for data analysis at work). As your main script is in python, it makes sense to create a GUI in python too. This will give you total portability - Windows, Mac and Linux too. And installation/distribution-wise this will only require installing one standard python library, which can be done from within python environment (using pip).
