Hi. I am a Linux package maintainer and C programmer with some past light experience with AVR firmware programming. I saw this proposal and packaged simavr for my distro (void linux) and submitted the package for release. I got a good look around the build system, since packaging was non-trivial, and I am working on a patch to send upstream to fix musl libc support for the test client.
It is unclear whether your code is a modified version of simavr or a client using simavr as a library, but either way, I am quite confident I could get it compiling on any common linux distribution, since I spend a decent amount of time compiling other peoples code. I could provide instructions and modifications to make this happen or, given access, set it up.
The requirement of causing the processor to stall in simavr is also slightly unclear, depending on your motivation/requirements, but I am a capable C programmer and am confident about finding a solution.
I am low-balling my bid a little because I have never worked on freelancer before, but it sounds like this could be very simple and if more information was provided about the requirements I could have possibly bid lower.
I am very busy Friday/Saturday, so I set a longer delivery time, in case we are talking business days, but I have a lot of time to put in any other days and don't think this would take very long given prompt communication.
I hope to hear back from you!
