cpp generic type variables

I need client-server model (made with grpc). the server will get as an input one shared object file. The so file will contain a function that returns a vector of any type. For example the so file might have: std::vector<int> myData(){ std::vector<int> result; for(int i = 0; i < 1000 ; i++){ result.push_back(i); } return result; } or std::vector<std::string> myData(){ std::vector<int> result; for(int i = 0; i < 1000 ; i++){ result.push_back("hello"); } return result; } pay attention the the data types (maybe myData returns std::vector<int> or std::vector<std::string>. This datatype can be anything. The server and the client is compiled. The server will load the so file, will get the return from the myData function and then will send it to client. The server and the client must get the data and recognize it at run time. I would like to know if this at first is possible, and if it is how long will it take you to do it.
