connecting multiple i2c devices with single controller

Hi, Theoretically, I2C bus can handle up to 128 devices with only 1 master. I think, You should check two things: 1. did you already use pull up resistor over SDA and SCL pin? 2. did that two IC have same I2C address? if you want to connect them in one I2C bus, you have to ensure they have different I2C address. I never use Quectel actually. but I2C is just I2C. the system is same on every microcontroller. I have used lot of sensor / IC using I2C bus. let me know your configuration. just message me. Dear i have 16 years experience in Embedded and PCB Designing. as per my experience this is address of I2C issue, go to internet and search for the same if you have same problem than hire me or some one who resolve this issue for you. as this is very small issue i think you don`t need to hire. I had 4years industrial experience in Embedded systems .... Almost all I2C sensors are interfaced.. Temperature, humidity, Ambient Light and etc...

I have used both of the I2C devices mentioned. It shoukd not take me much time to figure out the proble. Though the vontroller your using might be different, you can test my libraries for testing and I canvalidate the schematic as well.
