Buying and selling high end equipment

I buy and sell high end photo, musical, kitchen and some industrial equipment. By high end, I mean pretty much just top shelf stuff, never normal consumer items. I need help on the purchasing end, I come up with the leads, I need someone who can make contact with the seller, chat them up a bit and find out if they are open to an offer and then follow up with them on a weekly basis until they either accept the offer or have already made a sale. Applicant will ideally be based in Portland, OR, or at least nearby. It is very important when talking to sellers that the call is coming from someone who knows the local landscape and has at least a basic knowledge of the item we are trying to purchase. Truly exceptional phone skills and personality are a must. I am always open with people that I am a dealer, not just a lowballer, and as such calls are always friendly (99% at least) but still this is an art, think of it as great sales skills in reverse. Generally, I come up with 5-10 leads a week, but it can be less, probably not more. Hourly pay is of course negotiable, but I do profit share for every successfully made purchase.
